Call of Duty: Mobile Zombies mode to be pulled due to not meeting the "level of quality" desired

Zombies mode in Call of Duty: Mobile will be removed later this month.

Zombies mode was introduced to Call of Duty: Mobile as a limited-time mode, but it now appears it won't be returning for the foreseeable future.

According to the developers speaking on the official reddit, the mode didn't reach the "level of quality" the team desired.

Because the mode will be removed from the game on March 25, this means the second map, Nacht Der Untoten, will not be released.

"Today, after extensive evaluation we are sharing that Zombies Mode is being removed on March 25," reads the post. "We had always mentioned it was limited but with no explicit end-date. We wanted to see the reception, see the feedback, and see how we can potentially shape the mode for the future.

"However, the mode just didn’t reach the level of quality that we desire."

The mode may be brought back at some point in the future with the Nacht Der Untoten map, but the team wants to ensure it is of "high enough quality" before doing so.

Free-to-play and available on smartphones, the game has been downloaded over 100 million times.
