The story of the duct-taped gamer will be told in new documentary

Remember that picture of a LAN party where one player was inexplicably duct-taped to the ceiling?

The photo of a Counter-Strike player duct-taped to the ceiling at a LAN party is as old as it is bizarre. Originally shared in 2003, someone is finally getting the bottom of what lead to its bizarre setup.

Internet Legends: Duct-Taped Gamer is a documentary that wants to tell the story of how all this came to be. Producers will be interviewing the duct-taped man himself, Drew Purvis, as well as the person who took the photo and more.

The trailer doesn't have a date for the documentary, and it's honestly a bit overly dramatic. It uses Mark Hamill's narration from The Rise of Skywalker trailer, as well as brief bits of Star Wars music.
