TrackMania races into May with a remake of TrackMania Nations

TrackMania is back and it's heading to PC in May.

Ubisoft announced TrackMania at the Grand League Finals in Lyon, France, and it's a remake of 2006's TrackMania Nations.

The remake will include a season campaign and daily track selections, along with new track-creation options such as new surfaces and special blocks.

There will also be a Grand League and Open Grand League held two times a year.

Not much else was revealed about the game, but we expect that to change before its May 5 release.

An offscreen video of the reveal trailer was taken by YouTuber TM AllBest, whose channel focuses on the racing series. The in-game footage shown in the trailer is from the early alpha stage. We'll replace it with the official trailer once Ubisoft releases it.

Developed by Ubisoft Nadeo, the last game in the series, TrackMania Turbo, was released in 2016.

Thanks, Blue.
