Revenue from sales of The Witcher 3 on Steam has exceeded $50 million since 2018

The Witcher 3 has pulled the numbers on Steam.

According to CD Projekt Red, since October 2018, The Witcher 3 has pulled in over $50 million.

That's accumulative revenue, as Steam takes a cut from sales. As a result, CDP said it is now getting an 80% share of sales through the service (thanks, resetera).

The game broke its previous concurrent players record on Steam over the holidays after The Witcher Netflix series aired. The peak concurrent players hit nearly 102,000 players.

NPD also estimated sales of the game were up by 554% in December 2019, coinciding with the release of the the series.
