The opening cinematic for Final Fantasy 7 has been completely redone in the Remake.
Hot off the heels of yesterday’s action–packed screens, Square Enix has today released the opening cutscene of Final Fantasy 7 Remake.
Not only is this version of the opening significantly longer, it also features new orchestrated music. The beginning of the cutscene is entirely new, featuring new shots of Midgar. It doesn’t get to Aerith until about two minutes in. Cloud’s entrance is given a bit more panache, too, thanks to the upgraded visuals and sounds.
