There's a Crash Bandicoot mobile game coming and it's an endless runner

While there have been hints recently that a new Crash Bandicoot game is in the works, the next title in the series will be released for mobile.

That's according to images and a description for the Crash Bandicoot mobile title which appeared online before being pulled.

The game is developed by King, Activision's mobile studio, and the images initially appeared on Facebook.

The title is a mobile runner, according to a description of the game listed by Storemaven and dug up by Kotaku.

According to the now pulled description, you will "jump, slide, spin, and surf" on Wumpa Island tracks. You will also collect as many Wumpas as possible, and "spin through crates" for special rewards. There's more to it obviously, so hit up the link to have a look at the full description.

Since the information on the game is a leak, we're not sure of a release date.

A new Crash game is rumored to be in development, and Activision said on its recent call to investors it has “several” remastered and re-imagined games coming in 2020.
