This Witcher-inspired workshop has made a real-world replica of Geralt's silver sword

The Kaer Morhen Forge has created a precise replica of Geralt of Rivia's silver sword from The Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt

Run by Artur Wysocki - a swordsmith who also has with an official license from CD Project to make and sell swords based on its releases - Geralt's silver sword is emblazoned with the inscription: Dubhenn haern am glândeal, morc’h am fhean aiesin

Or, in English: My gleam cuts through darkness, my light disperses the shadows.

The sword is forged from 50HF spring steel and then hardened, before being covered in 1mm of real silver. Its crossguard is made with carbon steel soldered with brass, with a grip covered in genuine leather.

Swords are made on individual comission, with prices running from 400 to 900 euro. This particular weapon is available in three different versions: a battle sword with sharp edges, a thicker-edged training sword, or a sword with dulled edges, each weighing 1.4kg, and about 122cm long, with the blade making up 90cm.
