Code Vein's first DLC Hellfire Knight arrives today

It's time to bring the Revenants back together and tackle some baddies in Code Vein.

The first DLC release for Code Vein is now available on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.

In it, you and your fellow Revenants will join up to take on a new boss called the Hellfire Knight.

Alongside the new boss battle is a new side story, access to a new blood code, three new weapons, and alternative partner costumes. New challenges also await you in The Fiery Oblivion which is a new area full of powerful enemies.

Hellfire Knight's release is part of the Season Pass which contains three post-release content drops. Two others are on the way: the second is slated for February and the third DLC will arrive in March.

The Season Pass will set you back $24.99 or the regional equivalent, or purchased separately for $9.99. Hit up those links to take you to the Xbox, PlayStation, and Steam stores, respectively.

Released in September 2019, Code Vein is set in a post-apocalyptic world with Gothic elements. The game features a buddy system where one AI companion accompanies you but it can be turned off if you want more of a challenge.

Playing the game you will find interconnected dungeons where you will unlock mysteries surrounding Vein. As you progress, you will face tougher challenges and can adapt your loadout of abilities and weapons to better handle what you’ll face.

The game also features co-op if you wish to bring a friend along.
