An intriguing back-and-forth between Fortnite and Warner Bros. over social media appears to tease the battle royale’s next big crossover event.
Following a tweet from the official Warner Bros. account – a video featuring the film’s cast – Fortnite offered this curious response: “See you soon Harley!”
Warner Bros. later replied “Can’t Wait” along with a kiss emoji. Huh!

So could a new Birds of Prey themed crossover event be in the works? The upcoming film starring actor Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn is slated to hit theaters on February 7, so the timing seems right.
And it seems in line with Fortnite’s previous crossover events, which have been themed around the likes of Batman, Borderlands 3, Stranger Things, and Star Wars. But as always, take any online interaction with a grain of salt.
Yesterday Epic Games announced it has extended Fortnite Chapter 2: Season 1, with plans to move the game to Unreal Engine’s Chaos system. Season 1 of Chapter 2 will now end for Fortnite players on February 20, which is when Season 2 kicks off.
