Loran Cleric is another Bloodborne boss restored by modders

Nearly five years after release, Bloodborne continues to inspire fans to dig deeper into its hidden secrets.

Bloodborne, perhaps more than any other FromSoftware game, has amassed a big following of modders and content creators looking to uncover its cut content.

Yet again, the community has resotered a boss fight that never made it into the final game. As we've previously seen with other cut bosses like the Great One Beast and the recently discovered Master Willem fight, modders use jailbroken consoles and a set of community-made tools to reassemble AI and scripting and trigger these fights.

This recent find has been an ongoing effort to dig deeper into a very familiar Chalice Dungeon enemy: the Loran Cleric. This particular enemy was supposed to be a boss fight at one point, with modders digging up references to a specific variant not found in the final game.

Foxy Hooligans and the Tomb Prospectors community of modders managed to actually start the fight using leftover AI for the boss. As you're about to watch, the Loran Cleric has harder-hitting attacks in this form. The boss is unable to move around the arena, but that is to be expected when resurrecting unfinished content.
