Forza Horizon 4 gets battle royale mode called 'The Eliminator'

Forza Horizon is getting a battle royale mode

We’ve reached peak gaming. Isn’t a racing battle royale a demolition derby? Who knows.

The game’s new mode is called The Eliminator.

Released in a free update today, the new mode has a whopping 72 racers competing against each other as they rocket around Forza 4's open-world rendition of Britain. Yes! You can now pelt around Stonehenge or the streets of Edinburgh in a wheely royale. As if Britain didn’t have enough chaos already.

The mode has you aiming to win head-to-head races to win new pick-ups and faster cars, all while the battle royale zone gets smaller and smaller.

Every player starts off in the classic 1965 Mini Cooper, but you unlock faster and better cars by locating Car Drops, or coming first in the head to head races, which eliminate the losers.

When the mode launches at 6pm in the UK/10 am PT, it will be accompanied by a special mini-campaign and unlockable rewards. These include the 2008 Renault Mégane R26.R, the 2016 Porsche 911 GT3 RS Pre-Order Edition, the 1970 Mercury Cougar Eliminator, and a range of Eliminator-branded character clothing too.
