The Division 2 update to include beta version of permadeath Hardcore Mode, Situation: Snowball in-game event

The Division 2 players can soon enjoy a themed in-game event called Situation: Snowball.

Ubisoft has announced that Title Update 6.1 for The Division 2 will include a themed in-game event, Situation: Snowball.

Apparently, enemies will be sporting a red Santa Hat, and if you take them out, you'll earn a new weapon that shoots snowballs.

As part of the event, all who log into the game December 10 through January will get their own Santa Hat.

Also included in Title Update 6.1 is The Silent Night apparel event which includes a dark winter theme. The Silent Night Apparel Cache features 35 new apparel items to collect and all who log in during the event will receive one free key. Year One Pass holders will earn an additional three keys as a bonus.

Starting with the Silent Night apparel event, players will also have the option to purchase Apparel Event caches with Premium Credits. These caches can be sent as gifts to friends and clan members.

In addition, a beta version of the new Hardcore Mode will be part of Title Update 6.1. Death is permanent in this mode as there is no chance to respawn.
