Life is Strange 2’s first season is 50 percent off on PS4, Xbox One and PC

The entire first season of Life is Strange 2 is available at half-off on all platforms.

The five-episode season, which will typically set you back $39.99 on PS4, will be available from the PlayStation store at half-price from now until December 3 as part of its extended Black Friday sale. Keep in mind that final date coincides with the release of Life is Strange 2’s fifth and final episode, so naturally you won’t be able to unlock that one until launch.

Similar sales also apply to Life is Strange 2’s PC and Xbox One brethren. Over on Steam, you can pre-purchase the complete first season at 51 percent off for just under $20. And for the next two days you can get the season at 40 percent off on Xbox One. Both of these deals also end on Wednesday.

Dontnod’s narrative adventure sequel follows the story of Sean and Daniel Diaz, who run away and take to the road after falling into trouble with the police – we described the series’ first episode as “explicitly political, directly addressing the current state of American discourse” when we reviewed it last year. The developer revealed its teaser trailer for the story’s final episode earlier this month, which you can check out for yourself below:
