After battling his demons on Dathomir, Cal Kestis falls back on Jedi tradition to find his way. When you first visit the planet of Ilum in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order you’re lightsaber-less, but that doesn’t stop the game from testing your wits. Here’s how to open the door to the Jedi Temple and solve the Ice Crystal puzzle on Ilum, just like Master Yoda did in Cal’s youth.
Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order Jedi Temple Ice Crystal Puzzle solution
There aren’t actually that many steps to this puzzle, but it’s easy to get lost in what you’re doing and have to track back.
First things first, when you enter the central room you will see the swinging Ice Pendulum that’s at the centre of this puzzle.
Your aim is to reflect a beam light through the crystal to melt the ice blocking your way.
To start, push the bronze device in front of you with Force Push to the other side of the room.
Next, make your way over to the other side of the room when you just pushed the device. Now Force Pull the sun door’s cord into your hands then attach it to the bronze device.
Now pull the cord under the pendulum into your hands with Force Pull and walk with it so the big crystal goes into the beam.
This melts some ice over on the other side of the room, which makes a route back up and around to where you came into the puzzle room.
Unhook the sun door’s cord from the bronze device, then Force Push the device back over the other side of the room.
Use the pendulum’s cord to swing over to the other side of the room, then hook up the pendulum’s cord to the bronze device and push it back to where you just swung from.
Now go through the opening you melted in the ice. Then swing on the rope to go up and around to the left.
Finally, Force Pull the cord you find here into your hands and open the sun door. The crystal should now be in the right place to melt the ice wall and allow you passage to the rest of the Jedi Temple.
