Square Enix working on a next-gen action game

Square Enix is working on an unannounced next-gen action title, according to a job posting.

The Japanese recruitment page notes the company has openings in its First Development Division for the next-gen action title.

Square Enix states in the listing prospective employees would be working on a "next-generation action game experience that goes beyond the framework of existing action games," (thanks, Gematsu).

The First Development Division is responsible for Final Fantasy 7 Remake, Kingdom Hearts 3, Romancing SaGa 3 Remastered and various other titles.

Next-gen consoles Project Scarlett and PlayStation 5 are both slated for release during holiday 2020.
