Norman Reedus asked for bigger muscles in Death Stranding

In Hollywood, actors often have to get buff for upcoming roles. Video games make that process much easier, though - you just have to ask for bigger muscles.

According to game director Hideo Kojima, the Walking Dead actor asked Kojima Productions to inflate his guns in-game.

During a visit to Kojima Productions, comedian Conan O’Brien joked, “This is the first shower Norman Reedus has had in three years,” while watching footage of the game. “I’m noticing there are many scenes where Norman is naked. Was that Norman’s request?”

“Norman’s request was to make him more muscular,” Hideo Kojima replied.

“Ah, Norman asked for a better body, didn’t he?” O’Brien responded. “I’ve seen Norman naked and he doesn’t look like that.”

O’Brien visited the studio while doing a show in Japan. He also got the chance to be 3D scanned for a cameo in the game, where he apparently appears as a cosplay fanatic. You can watch the video here:
