Former Xbox corporate vice president Mike Ybarra has joined Blizzard Entertainment.
Mike Ybarra, who left Microsoft earlier this month, has joined Blizzard as its new executive vice president and general manager. He will start his new position on November 4.
When Ybarra announced his departure two weeks ago, he teased a new role which would see him continue working in gaming.

Ybarra’s previous tenure at Microsoft spanned 20 years where he worked in various leadership roles. During his last few years he oversaw Xbox Live, Game Pass and Mixer.
