The Division 2 is down to £20/$20 on consoles ahead of free weekend

The Division 2 is getting another free weekend next week from October 17 to 21, where Ubisoft have also announced a sale where new players can carry their progress over. However, retailers have decided to start the party earlier with the post-apocalyptic online tactical shooter now below £20 and $20 in the UK and US respectively.

There's a bit of a pricing disparity between consoles in the UK but it's still a big price cut in any case.

This comes just in time for the drop of The Division 2's Episode 2 content, taking places in The Pentagon and the DARPA research lab. This update arrives on October 15 for pass holders.

Whether you take advantage of this offer now or wait to try it out during the free weekend, it's a good time to jump into The Division 2. Despite its publisher's insistence on saying nothing political, even as you engage in firefights overlooking the US Capitol and the Lincoln Memorial, it's nonetheless an improvement in many areas over its predecessor, while Ubisoft Massive have also been providing some solid post-launch updates. You'll likely have a better time with it than Ghost Recon Breakpoint at least.
