Conan Exiles is getting mounted combat in December

You'll be able to ride a horse into battle in Conan Exiles from December, and woe betide anyone who tries to take your stead down.

Conan Exiles, Funcom's best seller, has been around for a while now - it's even been a PlayStation Plus title, as of earlier this year.

And now, finally, the game's getting mounts, so you can roar into combat on horseback. The teaser trailer below only shows (well...implies) a rabbit being slain, but you'll be able to slaughter your enemies from the back of a horse once the update is up.

This is a thing fans have been asking for since not long after the game came out, so it's nice to see it become a reality.

It's not yet clear whether you'll be able to mount creatures other than horses, although we'd think that surely you must be able to, since they're using the term 'mount' instead of 'horse' here. In any case, we'll find out for sure in December when the update lands.
