Limbo’s art style continues to inspire other games to this day. Mods, too, can find inspiration in Limbo’s look.
Although Borderlands 3‘s PC mods have yet to witness a renaissance, the community has been hard at work on some helpful and entertaining mods.
What we wanted to highlight today is the Borderlands 3 Limbo mod by Yeti, which does exactly what you think. The game’s entire look switches from the colourful, bulky visuals synonymous with Borderlands to the more abstract monochromatic look of Limbo.
Yet’s mod lets you better appreciate the geometric design of the game’s world, thanks to the muted look that helps everything stand out more. It may be harder to play, however, because enemies could often be mistaken for parts of the scenery if they don’t move.
The mod relies on Reshade to work, but it’s relatively easy to set it up. Head over to the Nexus mod page for instructions and a download link.
Thanks, PC Gamer.
