Call of Duty: Modern Warfare beta players are reporting cross-progression has been enabled

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare beta players are reporting progression is transferring between platforms, which means cross-progression is enabled.

Last we heard, Infinity Ward was looking into cross-progression for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, which would be handy for players considering it features cross-play.

Back in August, the developer said it was still figuring out whether cross-progression would be supported. If reports from beta players are accurate, the studio has indeed figured it out.

According to the report on Charlie Intel, those playing the Modern Warfare beta on PS4 are reporting levels and progression transferring over once their PSN, Xbox Live, and Battle.net accounts were linked to their Call of Duty Account. Should Activision announce the feature officially, we'll update this post.

Considering this week's beta will support cross-play between platforms, enabling cross-progression not only makes sense, but makes it handy for players with multiple systems to continue playing where they left off on another platform.
