Take Call of Duty on the go when Call of Duty Mobile releases next month

Call of Duty: Mobile will release next month on Google Play and the App Store.

Call of Duty: Mobile will release for iOS and Android devices on October 1, and comes with all maps, modes, weapons and characters from across Call of Duty, including the Modern Warfare and Black Ops series.

Developed by Tencent’s Timi studio, the game is free-to-play and launches with various multiplayer modes and Battle Royale, with more modes and content, time-limited events and playlists to be added on a regular basis.

Along the way, you will rank up to earn and unlock characters such as John “Soap” MacTavish and Simon “Ghost” Riley from the Modern Warfare series, as well as Alex Mason from the Black Ops series.

The mobile version features Team Deathmatch, Search and Destroy, as well as Free for All. You can also expect classic maps such as Nuketown, Crash, Hijacked and more. Weapons, scorestreaks and additional gear for equipping and customizing loadouts are also included.

Battle Royale mode will feature up to 100 combatants on a map designed exclusively for the mobile title. It will take place across various CoD locations in solos, duos or four-person teams. Vehicles include an ATV, helicopter, and tactical raft.

You can sign up and pre-register for Call of Duty: Mobile ahead of time at the link.

Speaking of Call of Duty, this week’s Modern Warfare beta supports cross-play for the first time.

Like the first weekend, the first day is only available only to those who pre-ordered, but opens up for everyone else the following day.
