Death Stranding has a private room where Sam can do some interesting things

Death Stranding will feature a private room where protagonist Sam can do some interesting things.

Get your mind out of the gutter. These things include resting and taking a shower. Sam looks like he'll have a tough go of things sometimes in Death Stranding, so of course he'll want to take a relaxing shower.

According to the 30-minute demonstration shown during TGS 2019, you won't have direct control over Sam while in the private room. Hideo Kojima described this part of the as being similar to a “gal game”, or what most people would call a dating sim.

But instead of actually controlling Sam completely while in the room, the player will be able to change the camera angle which will result in Sam doing certain movements. These include begging to get in the shower, or flexing his arm.

As Siliconera reports, if you move the camera to his feet, he will tap them.

And should you decide to move the camera to his private area, he will cover himself. If you do it too many times, Sam will give you a knuckle sandwich.

While in the private room, you can also make Sam contort his face while looking in the mirror. The game's screenshot feature allows you to take images of theses silly faces, and the number of likes you get in the game will give you a score. All of the silliness you see was mo-capped by Norman Reedus, who apparently went all in and had fun with it.

There's obviously more to Sam's room than what we've told you, so watch the presentation for yourself above. If you missed the the 49-minute presentation earlier this week, just hit that link.
