Greedfall is Spiders' new game, has the studio finally made a breakthrough?
Greedfall is an action RPG very much in the style of games BioWare used to make. An adventure where you spend a lot of time talking to NPCs, making decisions and fighting baddies alongside your party.
Greedfall's setting is fictional, but it's inspired by real-world locations and events of the 17th century. Being an RPG, you can expect a wide range of play styles, both in combat and in interacting with the game's world.
There are always different ways to approaching any situation, some that favour being brash and others reward tact. In combat, the game allows you to pause the action to queue up skills for yourself and your companions, set up traps and generally take better control of the battlefield.
