Ghostwire: Tokyo creative director Ikumi Nakamura has left Tango Gameworks

Ikumi Nakamura, whom you may remember from her adorable stage presentation at Bethesda's E3 2019 showcase, is no longer with the company.

Ikumi Nakamura was one of E3 2019's highlights, exuding excitement and passion when it came time for her to announce Ghostwire: Tokyo, Tango Gameworks' new game.

Nakamura served as the game's creative director, but has suddenly left Tango Gameworks, where she spent nine years. The veteran artist and designer also worked on both The Evil Within games.

Nakamura announced her departure in a series of positive tweets, though without giving context or reason for why she left. It doesn't sound like she has a new job lined up, however, which is strange.

"After 9 years as Creative director & Art Director at Tango and Zenimax - I felt here is one of ends of the journeys . I learned from the talented people I've worked with and I respect. Contact me if anyone wants to work with me!" wrote Nakamura on Twitter.
