Ghost Recon Breakpoint turns psychedelic in strange new trailer

We've entered a new era of surreal video game trailers.

Ubisoft has released a decidedly bizarre new trailer for Ghost Recon Breakpoint. The video is made up of different vignettes, all with the narration of a fairy tale and the visuals of 1930's cartoons.

Dubbed the Big Bad Wolves Fairy Tales, each chapter of the story focuses on one of Breakpoint's main features, showing it off in context as a fairy tale. Although it takes some liberty with - let's call them interpretations - of these mechanics, the video is otherwise very well put together.

It is, however, a little strange to see such sanitised, clean content for a mature game. Ubisoft may not top Black Ops 4's own surreal marketing, but this remains a very good, if unexpected, attempt.
