Boundary, the impressive zero-G shooter from Chinese indie team, launches next year

Boundary, the zero-G space shooter that's been kicking around for nearly three years, has secured a release window.

Boundary is a near-future, zero-G shooter from Chinese independent team Surgical Scalpels. The game's impressive visuals and presentation caught the eyes of many in the little snippets of gameplay the developer has been releasing over the past several months.

Few details about Boundary were revealed since its first showing at ChinaJoy 2016, but this changes now. The game has been picked by a publisher, Huya, which will ensure the team has enough funds to wrap up production.

A 5v5 tactical shooter, Boundary is placing a big emphasis on customisation with a modular upgrade system for weapons, and an array of visual motifs for its characters.

Today's gameplay trailer should give you a good idea of what to expect, but you can also click through for the developer's YouTube channel to see more.

Boundary is shooting for release sometime in the first quarter of 2020, for PC and PS4.
