VG247 presents: So you think you can act? Video game actors and a casting director give performance feedback at PAX West

Want to take your anime cosplay to the next level? Read lines as your character to actors who have starred in lots of video games.

Hosted by Tonight Show writer and VG247 contributor Mike Drucker (we all know which one is more impressive), this PAX West panel is all about people showing off their acting talents to a panel of famous judges. The panel includes Cissy Jones (Delilah, Firewatch), Sarah Elmaleh (protagonist, Anthem), Jennifer Hale (Commander Shepard, Mass Effect), and Sekiro casting director Julia Bianco Schoeffling.

Bring your own video game lines, stand up in front of the panel, and recite them to the judges. We’re happy to play about with it if you want to read a famous line as a different video game character, or if you’d like to do an in-character conversation with one of our panelists. Perhaps you just want to do effort noises! We’re open to it all, but please keep your lines to a couple of minutes so everyone gets a chance.

It should be good fun, and we welcome people who just want to have a go, as well as budding performers who want to show off their talents. Cosplay is completely optional.

The panel takes place on Saturday, August 30, at 1:30pm in the Sphinx Theatre featuring USGamer and friends.
