Tekken 7 adds new fighter Leroy Smith and returning martial artist Zafina

Bandai Namco revealed the first details on Tekken 7's third season, including the return of martial artist Zafina and the introduction of Leroy Smith, a brand new fighter to the series.

The video gives us an official description for Leroy, which reads as follows:

"50 years ago, a young boy was caught up in a large-scale gang conflict in New York, losing his family and home. Missing for decades, he has finally returned to New York, now as a seasoned master of martial arts – and he's out for revenge."

Zafina comes to Tekken 7 this month, and Leroy Smith will debut this Winter.

Two more characters are planned for the third season, releasing in Winter and Spring, and the season pass also includes a new feature and stage, in addition to a number of free updates. Those include new moves for all characters and "expanded practice functionality," to name a few.

Bandai Namco teased Solid Snake as a character this season – except it was apparently a big ruse.
