Microsoft releasing first batch of content for its Flight Simulator Insider Program in August

In early-to-mid August, Microsoft will kickoff its Flight Simulator Insider Program with its first batch of content, including a preview of the official development roadmap and clips captured from the game's build.

The program is intended to include community members in Flight Simulator's development process. Players who sign up will gain access to an Insider page where they'll be able to see footage from the game and learn detailed information on upcoming preview builds. Microsoft says to expect another update on the program on August 8.

Microsoft announced Flight Simulator during its E3 2019 press conference. According to the description, you'll be able to fly planes ranging from light to wide-body jets and fly "anywhere on the planet." It's slated for a 2020 release on Xbox One and PC.
