There’s another content drop coming to For Honor, and we’ve got a new map to take a peek at.
For Honor keeps growing and growing in its third year, and now another new map is coming. Storr Stronghold is focused on the vikings, which seems to be the general flavour for the year 3 season 3 content we’ve seen.
The trailer, below, shows off the map at a moment of tranquility.
There’s a constant rain of fire and some fairly intricate pathway plotting by the look of it. The map feels fairly lived-in, and looking over the locations in the video you can imagine the spots where it’s going to be most satisfying to take down your enemies.
The map will be added into the game’s Breach mode.
The Storr Stronghold will release on August 1, a week ahead of the Jormungandr’s arrival (unless you have a Year 3 pass, in which case you’ll have the new viking fighter on the same day).
For Honor was one of February’s PlayStation Plus titles, so it’s entirely possible that you own the game and have forgotten about it.
Jump in on August 1 if you want to level the playing field by playing on a map that no one is familiar with.
