Discord now has folders so you can round up your 10 PUBG servers in one place

Discord’s latest update has added an oft-requested feature: folders.

Server folders work exactly as you might imagine; letting users bundle up servers into a single directory for better organisation and easier access. Creating a folder is as simple as dragging and dropping server icons.

You can name your folders anything you like, and even assign different colours to each of them. Folders are saved to your profile, so they’re accessible anywhere you use Discord – including desktop, browser, and mobile.

More importantly, since server notifications can get out of hand when you’re a member of several active Discord communities, the new update allows users to dismiss notifications for the entire folder.

Perhaps soon we’ll be able to use images as folder icons, for those of us with too many servers all playing a single game. Watch a suitably excited Discord developer reveal the feature in this brief trailer:

Sometimes we include links to online retail stores. If you click on one and make a purchase we may receive a small commission. For more information, go here.
