Anthem pre-Cataclysm challenges now available in Freeplay

Anthem players can now participate in pre-Cataclysm challenges in Freeplay mode.

Dubbed The Oncoming Storm, the pre-Cataclysm challenges in Anthem involve Crystals popping up across the Bastion.

Here, players are tasked with killing enemies which have become crystallized, destroying crystals, and completing world events revolving around the crystals.

According to the reddit thread, completing the challenges will earn players coins and decals for their javelin. If you complete the set of The Oncoming Storm challenges, you will also earn a graphic called Arcanist's Monument.

Anthem players on PC are currently testing its endgame activity, Cataclysm, on the PTS. Originally set to release in June, Bioware held back its release to perform a proper test.

If you own the game on PC or are a current Origin Access Premier subscriber, you can jump on the PTS and try it out for yourself.

Bioware hasn't provided a date for Cataclysm as of press time.
