GTA Online Diamond Casino DLC: how to get chips and play casino games
Just in case you couldn’t find enough to do in the sprawling city of Los Santos already, Rockstar has added a whole new leisure complex of high-stakes games for you to try your hand at.
To get in on the action you can’t just use your regular hard-earned cash, but a special, casino-specific currency, Chips, to play.
Once you’ve grabbed a handful - or a bucket-load - you’ll be able to sample everything the Diamond resort has to offer, and you might just win some more. But remember, the house always wins.
How to get chips and play casino games in GTA Online
There are a couple of ways that you can get some casino currency and start playing.
First off, when your purchase your initial standard membership to the Diamond Casino, you get a "welcome gift" of 5,000 Chips. Other benefits of this standard membership include valet parking at the resort.
As a daily bonus, everyone who visits The Diamond gets a daily gift of 1,000 Chips from the cashier - more on them in a minute.
Also, when you buy one of the many options of Penthouse, you get an amount of Casino chips with each one.
If you buy the top property, you receive a princely 5,000 Chips.
If you need more than that, on the casino floor look out for the Cashier booths.
Here, you can get Chips for $1 each and spend up to $20,000 on Chips at a time.
With your Chips in hand, all you have to do now is approach the game you want to play!
GTA Online Casino - "This feature is not available for you"
Can't play any of the games? A lot of players are reporting that they're seeing the same "this feature is not available for you" message when they try and play at the Casino.
Apparently this is because of regional gambling laws. It seems like all of the games, including the Lucky Wheel, are blocked in certain countries based on how strict the gambling restrictions are.
Because of the potential consequences of doing so, we wouldn't recommend using a VPN to bypass these regulations.
