Tropico 6 arrives on PS4 and Xbox One this September

Tropico 6, the strategic city builder and dictator simulator, will be released for consoles September 27.

Kalypso has announced a PS4 and Xbox One release date of September 27 for Tropico 6. The game is already available on PC.

In Tropico 6, players take on the role of El Presidente on the fictional banana republic of Tropico. Expect to maintain balance between city building, keeping up with the infrastructure, dabbling in politics, supporting tourism, and dealing with the economics of it all.

The best part, is you can be a super nice ruler or a dictator with an iron fist. Or a happy medium. The choice is yours.

Alex enjoyed his time with the game. Give his Tropico 6 review a read here.

Tropico 6 is also currently in Xbox Game Preview and a recent update to the game introduced the random map generator alongside the usual bug squashing and improvements.

The full changelog can be found on the Kalypso forum.
