Pokemon Go has made $2.65 billion in revenue since it launched three years ago

Pokemon Go continues to bring in the cash.

The latest Sensor Tower report has estimated Pokemon Go has made $2.65 billion in revenue since it launched three years ago.

This means players have spent an average of $2.4 million in the game daily since launch. Sensor Tower said that's around $5 for each of its 521 million downloads.

According to estimates, the US accounted for 35% of gross spending close to $928 million on the game. Players in Japan have contributed $779 million (29%) and Germany $159 million(6%).

$1.43 billion of revenue came through Google Play, followed by $1.22 billion from iOS users.

Just this year alone, the game has grossed $395 million globally which is up 19% year-over-year.

Sensor Tower expects Pokemon Go to hit $3 billion in player spending by year's end.
