Guerilla Games lead producer Patrick Munnik dies at 44

Patrick Munnik, lead producer at Guerilla Games, died on June 10, 2019 at age 44.
Munnik started at Guerilla Games on Jan. 1, 2011, eventually taking on a senior producer role for both Killzone: Shadowfall and, later, Horizon Zero Dawn.
Guerilla Games released the following statement on Twitter today:
"It is with great shock and sadness we inform you that our lead producer Patrick Munnik is no longer with us. We are eternally grateful to have had our greatly valued and much loved Patrick on our team."
Hundreds have replied to the Tweet with their love and condolences, calling Munnik "a good producer and an even better family man."
Munnik is survived by a wife and children.
