The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening remake releases for Switch September 20

The remake of The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening has a release date.

During today's Nintendo E3 Direct presentation, a release date was provided for The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening.

Zelda: Link’s Awakening for Switch is a “modern re-imagining” of the original, which was released for Game Boy 25 years ago.

The game takes place after the events in A Link to the Past and finds our hero shipwrecked on Koholint Island.

You can pick the game up on Switch September 20.

The Switch title was announced earlier this year during the February Nintendo Direct presentation.
