People Can Fly's new game, Outriders, is a co-op shooter

People Can Fly has detailed their new game, Outriders, during Square Enix's E3 presentation.

It's a shooter - it looks like a third-person shooter, from what little glimpses we caught during a presentation that didn't feature gameplay, but did feature people at their computers working on it.

People May Fly is, of course, the studio behind the excellent Bulletstorm and the interesting Gears of War spin-off, Judgement. The first full-length trailer for Outriders is below.

A few more details were announced during the presentation, although we're still in the dark about a lot of it. It's a 'dark, modern shooter', and an 'experience with a strong story that you can enjoy with your friends or on your own'.

It looks like you'll be fighting mutant monsters with a bunch of wild guns. You can play with up to three players, with drop-in-drop-out multiplayer. Neat.

Hopefully more details will emerge during E3.
