Destiny 2: cross-save rumoured to be coming in Year 3 expansion

More details about Year 3 Destiny 2 expansion have been leaked and it looks like cross-saving will be possible soon.

Yesterday, we reported on the next expansion for Destiny 2 which is rumoured to be called Shadowkeep, which will take place on the moon.

A post on Resetera showed more information has been datamined after the 2.5.0.1 update which suggests that you'll soon be able to cross-save across platforms in Year 3.

Destiny 2 fans have been calling for cross-play for some time and this news is likely to make players very happy indeed, but we'll need to wait until the reveal tomorrow to verify it.

The Season of Opulence has begun and there's plenty to be getting on with, like the Imperial Summons Power Surge pursuit, new Pinnacle and Exotic weapons and the new six-player activity, The Menagerie.
