A closed alpha for Nioh 2 kicks off this week on May 24

A closed alpha test for Nioh 2 will kick off this weened and run for just under two weeks.

Team Ninja announced a closed alpha test for Nioh 2 today, but the number of spaces available will be limited.

While details are currently scarce (thanks, Gematsu), it appears to be an invite only tester.

"Some PS4 users are invited to take part in the Nioh 2 closed alpha to help gather feedback for the development," reads the tweet.

"To ensure the team can manage the feedback, there are no plans to expand the alpha at the moment, but please keep an eye on our channels for more info in the future."

The Nioh 2 closed alpha will run May 24 to June 2.

Announced during Sony's E3 2018 presentation, the PS4 game will unlikely see any dramatic changes, as it will remain difficult with  “more satisfying” deaths this time out.

A release window has not been announced as of press time.
