God of War has sold over 10 million units worldwide

Quick bit of news: God of War has sold more than 10 million units since April 2018.

Sony announced in a recent presentation God of War has sold 10 million units since its release in April 2018.

Sony Interactive president and CEO Jim Ryan provided the figures during the company's 2019 corporate strategy meeting. It was at this meeting Ryan provided a look at Spider-Man running on PS5 hardware.

God of War sold over 3 million units within three days of release, and hit 5 million units sold within one month.

The Sony Santa Monica-developed title is now one of the best-selling PlayStation-exclusives, ever. Not only is it a hit with fans, but critics alike. It was also nominated for multiple awards, and walked home with many – including multiple Game of the Year awards.
