Destiny 2: Xur location and inventory, Invitations of the Nine – May 10-13

Xur has returned to Destiny 2.

This week in Destiny 2 you can find Xur in the Tower behind Dead Orbit.

Items this week include two exotic helmets, a set of gauntlets and a grenade launcher.

Of course, Xur is also offering a new Invitation of the Nine this week. Everything Xur-related to need to know ahead of the reset is below.

Xur inventory for May 10-13

Eye of Another World [Exotic Warlock Helmet] - 23 Legendary Shards
Mask of the Quiet One [Exotic Titan Helmet] - 23 Legendary Shards
The Colony [Exotic Grenade Launcher] - 29 Legendary Shards
Young Ahamkara's Spine [Exotic Hunter Gauntlets] - 23 Legendary Shards

The Colony is the Exotic Weapon this week.

This Void grenade launcher fires little robot spiders instead of standard explosives, and they chase after nearby enemies. It reloads itself even as you’re holding, and according to Destiny 2 lore, the spiders are running into the chamber on their own.

Destiny 2: Season of the Drifter – Invitations of the Nine

In addition to his Exotic inventory, Xur’s offering a quest item for you to complete each week, for up to nine weeks. Each week you’ll be invited to learn more about the Nine and unlock lore pages.

This questline is called Invitations of the Nine and tasks you with completing weekly bounties. Here’s a complete guide to past invitations.

To get started, pick up his weekly Invitation which becomes the Into the Unknown bounty. This week, the Invitation is The Hanged Man and will cost you nine shards.

You will need to collect metaphysical samples from defeated enemies in the Dreaming City. To do this, you will need to finish the The Corrupted Strike and complete the following objectives:
