How to unlock the three secret bosses in Cuphead
Cuphead is finally available on the Nintendo Switch and there are some secret bosses for you to find.
If you feel like attempting some extra-punishing rounds in Cuphead, then you've come to the right place. The Cuphead 1.2 update for the Nintendo Switch, PC and Xbox One added in three new alternative boss routes for you to complete.
There may be more routes out there, but here's how to unlock the three that we know of so far.
Cuphead alternative boss routes
The first route can be found in The Root Pack. Progress as normal until you reach the giant onion then don't attack him when he spawns. After a while, he'll disappear and an angry little radish will appear in the final phase. Defeat the radish and the carrot to complete the level.
For the second route, progress through Djimmi the Great as normal until you reach the third phase where he scans you. Shrink down to your smallest form at the end of the third phase and he'll produce a little puppet that will shoot projectiles at you. Defeat the puppet and Djimmi to complete the level.
The final alternative route is available during Sally Stageplay. Instead of attacking her, attack the floating heart then jump on the angel platform to your left. Wait a few seconds until you hear a crack, then jump down. Do the same with the next heart and angel to your right. The ceiling will then fall onto Sally's husband. He'll reappear in the penultimate phase to lend Sally a hand.
