Fortnite is getting an Avengers: Endgame crossover and it kicks off tomorrow

Epic continues to tease another Avengers x Fortnite event that goes live this week when the movie hits theatres.

Avengers: Endgame releases this week, and Epic has confirmed that it'll be rolling out another Fortnite crossover event that looks like it'll go live alongside the film's launch on April 25.

Epic said today downtime for Fortnite's v8.50 update starts tomorrow, April 25 at 5am ET, 10am UK. So, we'll know more about the crossover event once the servers are back up.

The developer first teased the upcoming crossover on Twitter, with an image featuring Cap's shield and the movie's "whatever it takes" tagline.

Judging by the promo image, it's possible that this time around we could see some of the Avengers' skins appear in-game, or perhaps some of their signature weapons will be usable weapons or items - like Captain America's shield.

Epic Games further teased the mode by showing an image of Thor's Hammer and Iron Man's Repulsor Gauntlets.

Last year's Avengers: Infinity War crossover event was the first collaboration between the two franchises, and earlier this month, dataminers discovered Thanos references in the game's files, indicating that another crossover was on the cards.
