Monster Hunter World x The Witcher collaboration event gets dated on PC

Next month, PC players will finally be able to play The Witcher-themed missions in Monster Hunter World.

The Monster Hunter World/The Witcher crossover event became available on PS4, and Xbox One back in February. But, since the game's PC version gets all content updates late, PC players never actually got to play it.

Capcom has now confirmed that the event kicks off on PC on May 9. The collaboration event goes alive alongside a new patch. The update, in case you missed it, adds Geralt as a playable character and a Special Assignment Contract.

This quest will always be available, so don't fret if you can't log in on the day. The missions allow you to farm materials needed to craft Geralt armour set, Witcher Silver Sword, and a themed shield.

There's also another Special Assignment coming May 17, which is harder in difficulty, but it'll let you craft the Ciri armour set, and the Zireael dual blades.

All other details are unchanged from the console launch, so if you played it there, you can expect it to work the same way on PC. If not, our guides at the links above will help you get caught up.
