Battlefield 5 Firestorm battle royale mode launches later this month - watch first trailer

Battlefield 5's battle royale mode, Firestorm, officially has a release date.

In a new trailer, EA confirmed that Battlefield 5's Firestorm mode will be available on Monday, March 25 as part of a free update.

As you've probably seen in the leaked tutorial, Firestorm supports solos, duos, and squads for up to 64 players per match. The map is called Halvoy, and it's the biggest ever in Battlefield history.

The zone in this case is marked by the eponymous, encroaching firestorm. Many Battlefield elements such as destruction, and vehicles return. You'll also be able to call in support items, such as in the form of an artillery strike.
