The Fortnite v8.10 update is out, and Epic is making skin variants for Renegade Raider and the Elite Raider available.

Fortnite update v8.10 update files combed through by dataminers earlier today showed the Elite Raider skin without a mask, and variants for Renegade Raider. After the leak was posted, Epic Games announced the skins were now available.

The new styles are coming to older outfits, allowing players to “see the face behind the masks” of characters with helmeted outfits.

Updated styles for the following outfits are included with the new update:

  • Scarlet Defender
  • Elite Agent
  • Renegade Raider
  • Waypoint
  • Overtaker
  • Whiteout

You can look forward to more outfit styles and other “broad stroke improvements” such as improvements to lighting and the day/night cycle, wraps visuals, and much more in the future.

Epic also said to expect new consumable animations and effects, such as characters ‘popping the lid’ and drinking slurp juice.

The studio said that all health consumables will be updated to make the gameplay feel “more immersive than ever.”
