Pokemon Go Legendary Lunch Hour is a new event kicking off next week

Pokemon Go developer Niantic is trialling a new type of event.

Niantic has revealed Legendary Lunch Hour for Pokemon Go, an experimental event for players who enjoy battling, and raiding.

On Wednesday, March 13 from 12pm to 1pm local time, the game will spawn a bigger number of raids for all players to take part in. Next week's event will be the first demonstration of the idea. If players like it, Niantic will make it a weekly occurrence.

That's really all there is to it; if that's something you like, go out and battle and let Niantic know what you think. In the meantime, why not take a look at our updated Pokemon Go Egg chart?

And, in case you missed it, next week will also see the return of Rayquaza as a raid boss. Click through the link for a round-up of the best strategies when facing it.
