The Division 2 pre-load is live on consoles and PC

Attention, Agents: The Division 2 pre-load is now available.

With little fanfare, Ubisoft has made The Division 2 pre-load client available on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.

Those who pre-ordered the game on consoles and PC have been able to pre-load the game along with Title Update 1 since early this morning.

Like most pre-loads, the file size will vary depending on your system and PS4 is the largest of the lot.

The PS Store states the file size is 44.97 GB, but according to Ubisoft, the file size is actually a 88-92 GB download, depending on your region and preferred language. Whether installed from a disc or downloaded digitally, the final HDD install size will be between 88-92 GB.

Below you will find the approximate size for your system, give or take a few megabytes.

The Division 2 pre-load size:

  • PC: 48-52 GB - Uplay and Epic Games Store
  • PS4: 88-92 GB
  • Xbox One: 48-52 GB

Additionally, starting March 11, you will be prompted to download and install Title Update 1.5.

This is a 2 GB download, depending on your platform, region and preferred language. Title Update 1.5 mainly addresses occurrences of missing audio or cutting out experienced by some during open beta.

Players who already have the private beta or the open beta builds installed on their platform will have to download the full game.

The Division 2 is out next week. If you pre-ordered the Dark Zone, Dark Zone Definitive, Gold, Phoenix Shield, or Ultimate Edition, you can start playing the game on March 12.

Everyone else will have to wait until March 15.
